Man Utd News: Former Star Opens Up About Disappointing Old Trafford Exit

Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Silence on Manchester United Departure

Cristiano Ronaldo has finally broken his silence on his departure from Manchester United, revealing his true feelings about the exit that brought an end to his second spell at the club.

Regret and Frustration Over Old Trafford Exit

In an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo admitted that he felt "betrayed" by the club and that he had no other option but to leave.

"I felt that the club was not supporting me the way they should," said Ronaldo. "I think the fans deserve to know the truth."

Lack of Respect and Communication

Ronaldo also expressed his frustration with the lack of respect he felt from United's hierarchy.

"I was not allowed to have a preseason with the team," he said. "I was not given the opportunity to prove myself."

"There was no communication from the club. I felt like I was being pushed out."

Public Criticism and Erik ten Hag's Treatment

Ronaldo also criticized the club's public criticism of him and the way he was treated by manager Erik ten Hag.

"I think it's unfair that the club publicly criticized me," he said. "I have always given my all for Manchester United."

"Ten Hag didn't respect me as a human being or as a player. He never listened to my opinions."

Future Plans and Possible Return

When asked about his future plans, Ronaldo hinted at a possible return to Manchester United in the future.

"I love Manchester United and I always will," he said. "I hope to one day return to the club and help them win more trophies."

However, he also emphasized that he is currently focused on his new challenge with Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
